Relocation Success for Farmers Market

The Sheffield Farmers' Market has now relocated to Barkers Pool.

Sheffield Farmers' Market

The relocation of the Farmers' Market happened on Sunday 22nd October 2006 from The Moor to the Barkers Pool area in Sheffield City Centre and it proved to be a huge success.  Barkers Pool area provides a perfect new setting for the monthly Farmers Market where customers can browse a selection of fresh, local produce including fresh meats, home-made preserves, fresh bakery goods and home-made soaps.  Many of the producers themselves are stood behind the stalls selling their goods, so customers can have a chat and find out the origins of the produce they are buying.  It’s a great way to support the local farming industry and locally produced goods.  The products taste fantastic and give great value for money to shoppers.

The Farmers' Market will still operate on the fourth Sunday of every month from 10am until 3pm and the remaining dates for the 2006 Farmers' Market are 26th November & 17th December at Barkers Pool (in between John Lewis & Sheffield City Hall).

If you produce local goods (no craft items on this market please) and would like to stand on the Sheffield Farmers' Market, or you would like any further information on this market, please do not hesitate to contact Sheffield Markets on 0114 2735281.
