The Specialist Market programme begins!

The 2006 Specialist Market programme began in March and attendance has been high.

Art in the Gardens 2005

The popular Specialist Markets programme began earlier in the year and has been well received by visitors who have attended.

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, an Irish festival market was held on Fargate where people could find Irish delights on sale including handmade chocolates, seaweed products, Irish linen and jewellery.  The extremely popular Continental Market joined the Craft market and Global market to form the World Market to compliment the World Snooker Championships in April / May. There was a huge number of visitors and the hustle and bustle all added to the atmosphere and resulted in a great market over the weekend of the World Snooker finals.

There are still a number of Craft markets at various locations throughout the year including the Botanical Gardens, Hillsborough Park, Norfolk Park and Fargate as part of major events like Mayfest, Sheffield Fayre & Fright Night.  There is also the monthly Farmers' Market held on The Moor market on the 4th Sunday of every month for fresh foods from local producers.  (Starting 26th March 2006).

All of the dates for the 2006 Specialist Markets are listed on the 'Specialist Markets' pages of this website.  Alternatively you can phone us on 0114 2735281 for further details.
