This stall is situated in the popular Meat & Fish section of Castle Market. The stall has a frontage of 13.5 ft and an area of 175.5 sq ft. The weekly rent is £136.68 including rates.

If you are interested in obtaining this stall or any other stall you have seen on this website you will be invited to fill in an application form.  Your application will be considered on the basis of trade balance which is always taken into consideration.  Should you need advice on this, our staff will be able to help.

If your application is accepted you will be required to enter into a legal agreement with Sheffield City Council.  An administration charge of £150.00 (£75.00 for stalls on the Lower Ground Floor) is payable to cover the costs involved in preparing the legal documentation.  (This fee is NON REFUNDABLE).

If you are not an existing trader at any of Sheffield’s indoor markets, you will be required to provide two trade references.  One calendar month’s rent will be held as a bond and is payable before you occupy or carry out any alterations to the premises.

In addition to your rent, you will be responsible for:

Publicity:  £12.17 per calendar month (this amount varies if more than one stall is occupied)

Services (Gas/Electricity): These are metered and payable seperately to your supplier

All food businesses must comply with food hygiene regulations and must be registered with the Environmental Health department (enquiries 0114 2735774).  They will also be able to assist with any queries regarding food safety legislation.

All traders must have public liability insurance cover for a minimum of two million pounds and you must supply details of the company, policy number and expiry dates before you begin trading.  Joining the National Market Traders Federation also provides cover.
